  1. Hi everyone, I'm a textbook editor and we are working on a nursery level series that teaches English and introduces some ASL signs. I want to include a sign that expresses the idea of "baby tree" (a small, young tree) for a song they learn, but I wonder if combining the signs for "baby" and "tree" would be correct or could generate a completely different meaning through a compound concept. Appreciate any help you can give us on that :)
