Hi my name is Mamie and I'm 39 year old returning college student at NVCC. I am on my third semster of ASL but need a lot of practice and actually joined this forum hoping to meet people and get some practice in. I needed a language for my degree but chose asl as I have a family member who though I don't get to see often would love to be able to communicate with better. It's nice to meet everyone and if anyone would like to get together and practice or just chat please let me know. :)

  Hi! I just started ASL today with great interest. As of now, I only know the basics including the alphabets, numbers 1-20, a few colors, and pronouns. Although I will only be learning on my free time, I still hope that I will be able to make friends here and learn together with them! 💙
