Hello, my name is Reggie, and I've recently decided to learn sign language. After some unfortunate events in recent years, talking has become quite the burden on my psyche, and I do almost anything I can to avoid it. My therapist suggests that I have simply become selectively mute, which, when taken into consideration of everything that has happened and my past mental history, it rather makes sense. So, here I am, ready to learn a whole new way of speaking.

If anyone has any tips or would like to help me, that would be greatly appreciated. I am, in fact, particularly interested in video chatting and any form of conversing through sign language, since I live in a very isolated rural area and there is no one here for me to practice ASL with.

Once again, if anyone would like to or possibly could help me, that would be wonderful and I thank you.

That would be lovely, thank you. I would also love to chat with you some time in the near future as well. You may message me whenever you like, though please do not be upset if I don't answer now or right away, since I am experiencing fluctuations in the hours at my job.

Please though, do message me whenever the feeling occurs, it is not unwarranted in the least and is quite welcome. I only hope the same goes for me.

Sure thing, you may also contact me when you feel like it. And likewise, I may not reply as fast, but sure will do as soon as I can.

    • Hi everyone!  The names Leah and I am a ITP college graduate looking for someone who can challenge my asl skills. While I do work in the interpreting field I just need different people who have different signing skills. So if you feel like you are up for it, give me a shout! I’ll be happy to hear from ya.
    • Hey there, fellow ASL enthusiasts!  I have to delete this account due to some bugs. But, I'll create a new one and post a similar message again. Thanks!
    • 🤣Hello my name is Paul... I am in deaf relationship.... We are CHEFS.... Her triumphs are amazing and everyday I am very proud of her.... However being not deaf I can see how others still treat her as different.... I hate it it makes me want to smash them up.... So I've been on a personal quest to find an updated asl.... It seems behind the times and very dehuminizing.... Some of the signs are well they make her look like something she is not.... Am I wrong to want this for her a more professional ASL?
    • Hey guys! I am on Pacific time as well and there are many times throughout the day where I can practice! Do you all have skype or google hangouts?
