If anyone is interested on deciphering this for me, my girlfriend is teaching me sign language and said she didn't want to tell me what this sign meant in a very, teasing way. I just cannot let it go for some reason. It was an F followed by pointing at me, the only things I could find were saying "holding onto something small" Any help would be appreciated!

Looks like "f*** you" to me, honestly. I see so many variations of it, it looks really close to the variation one of my friends uses, so I would be shocked if it was different.

edit: could be "you decide" but i doubt it

    • Hello, I am Amy.
    • I like your idea! I'll try to be there.
    • I've noticed there's an increasing amount of people attempting to use the chat rooms on the website to practice. I'm here to possibly discuss a solution. If people read this, we could arrange to have people congregate to the chatroom at around 9 pm EST two days a week. At this time most people would be off work and have a little bit of free time. My suggestion is everyone tries to hop on around 9 pm EST either every Friday (as per the calendar) or every Wednesday and Saturday, where people get two opportunities per week to meet others. What do you guys think? I try to check the chat every other day at around 8 pm EST.   My ultimate suggestion is 9 pm EST on Friday. What do you guys think?
    • I recently retired from teaching braille.  Am taking an ASL class and enjoying it.  Just need more opportunities to practice.  Looking forward to checking out this site and finding ways to practice.  So far enjoying the fingerspelling game.  I am amazed that it is possible to read 30 words or more in such a short period of time from seeing all the names on the leaderboard!  I am at 16!  I have a long way to go!   Unlike braille, where reading braille is far easier than writing braille, it seems with ASL it is easier to sign or finger spell to someone than it is to interpret what they are signing or fingerspelling to you.  It will be refreshing to be on the other side of the teaching/learning relationship!
