The Famlingo app is a mobile library of short video clips demonstrating British Sign Language (BSL) signs with spoken English. It would be especially useful for people who are learning signs for Early Years to ensure you are learning BSL signs rather than ASL ones. This means you can also use these signs to communicate with members of the Deaf Community who use BSL.
The app allows subscribers to access a library of over 250 high-quality sign videos that are demonstrated by a Level 6 BSL Qualified signer. The topics covered in the library are:
Alphabet
Animals
Colours
Conversation
Family
Feelings and Emotions
Food and Drink
Numbers
Questions
Toys and Activities
Transport and Vehicles
Weather

Hi guys! I started learning sign language just two weeks ago now - I’ve found my favourite way to learn is by doing songs! Here’s me doing 7 years.. I have decoded the signs myself so there may be some discrepancies but I hope you enjoy😁https://youtu.be/KezRL--Ahqk
Hello Everyone!
I have decided to start learning BSL as it is something I have always wanted to do.
I work as a teacher and although I don't currently teach anyone who signs it is something I have been trying to incorporate into my classroom. Simple things like signing hello/good morning for the register along with please and thank you. I think that having the skill to communicate in different ways helps everyone to feel included and am looking forward to learning more through the course.
Hi everyone,
I am relatively new to sign language. I work as a team leader in a nursery and tend to use makaton whilst singing nursery rhymes. Sign language is something I have always been very interested in and I am very excited to be learning lots of new signs so I can bring them into my every day practice at nursery.

Hello
I am brand new to BSL and wanted to learn so that I can communicate mainly with children in my school. Loving it so far and can't wait to put it into practice.
