Hi everyone my name is Cherene and I am 27 years old. I am currently a 2nd year student nurse and a mom to a 9 year old beautiful girl. I have been learning BSL for about 3 weeks now and I am really enjoying it and hoping after doing this introductory course to move on to the next stage of learning BSL.

Hi all, I'm Nici. I just thought I would introduce myself as I have been learning BSL for a few weeks now & I'm very much enjoying it so far. I decided to change a few areas of my learning as I have plenty of free time at the moment to learn new thins.

Hello folks I'm Phil, started learning a couple of weeks ago and finding it fascinating and occasionally amusing. The sign for penguin had me in stitches! It made me think that there should be a word similar to onomatopoeia for when a sign looks like the thing it's representing, in the same way onomatopoeic words sound like what they represent. I'm an out of work (due to long term health issues) history graduate who lives in Greater Manchester and volunteers at a foodbank so I at least do something worthwhile with my life despite the limitations my health puts on me.
