I'm learning BSL so i can communicate with deaf people easily. We often have deaf customers at work and sometimes bring in disabled training artists to support them in their dream and i'd like to be able to communicate to them in their language instead of struggling to communicate in mine or not being able to communicate at all.

I've wanted to learn sign language for years but have never looked too far into it. I work in a theatre and we often bring in disabled artists and support them on their journey, this includes deaf artists too, so I figured that while i'm on furlough it would be nice to try and learn some sign language so i'll be able to sign to them once i'm back. I also want to be able to speak to any deaf people i meet in and out of work in their own language instead of struggling and having to speak mine.
