I started to learn BSL during lockdown to enhance my job role so I could communicate with my clients better as I am a social worker in adult social care. I am really enjoying what I have learnt so far. I have also shared the online course that I am using with my colleagues and others have signed up. We are also starting an informal lunch time group online amongst colleagues to discuss and develop our learning as we have recently employed 2 deaf practitioners.
