Hi,
I've been learning BSL level one since October in a fantastic online class. I'd really love to do practice in person but I am struggling to find a person or couple of people who are doing it in my area (North London). I know about the London pub meet up, but I'm not a big fan of pubs and don't really like central London either!

If anyone has any ideas about possible 'Deaf cafes' or similar in North London then please let me know :-)

My name is Ruth, I started learning BSL in early lockdown but didn't get beyond some basics, so I've started again this month and intend to do level 1 and 2. My motivation is a) I love languages, and think that BSL is a beautiful language, and b) it aligns with my professional commitments to accessible & inclusive practice (in the arts, where I work).

I really need to practice to help retain the learning, and wondered whether people know about online practice sessions that I could join? Obviously I'm a beginner but I do learn fast 😄
