Hey peeps,
I'm new to BSL and trying my hardest to retain the little I have learnt. I'm really looking forward to the journey ahead and meeting new people on here.
I currently live in Lincolnshire (South) and I work within the Urgent and Emergency sector of the NHS as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. There are two passions I have which are healthcare and motorbikes.
Hope to speak with some of you soon.

HI, my name is Michael and I work in the health industry within the NHS.
I completed a Masters Degree a couple of years ago and decided that BSL would be my next venture and as I work in Emergency and Urgent Care, some of my patients are part of the deaf community and to be able to communicate with them in a way that it makes them feel at ease, warms my heart.
BSL enables me to give my patients the best possible journey at their time of need, this is why it is important for me to learn BSL and maintain a good standard and understanding of the language and community. To be honest, I am at the beginning of my BSL journey and I do not have anyone around me that can speak in BSL so I am looking to network on this forum to find friends to speak with, learn and share experiences.
Hopefully some of you will reach out and we'll have a great journey together.

Hi,
I'm new to BSL and struggling to get things to stick. DO you find song signing a better learning platform than the online tutorials?
Thanks
Michael
