  1. Hello! I am a student doing an online BSL course for my DofE skill project.
  2. I found this course and decided to try it out during lockdown. I mentioned it to the head teacher who is very interested in it anyway and now all the TA’s are doing it. I work in primary and there could quite easily be time in the school week (or fortnightly) to do it. As more special needs chn are attending mainstream school I think all schools should teach this skill instead of makaton. A great way to teach chn a life skill and be all inclusive too.
  3. Hello I am a NQT Primary school teacher, I have wanted to learn BSL for a long time but have only learned finger spelling and basic greetings, please and thank you. I thought now was a perfect time to develop my BSL knowledge.
  4. Hi, I am learning Level 1 BSL in Bristol and would love a practice buddy. I am 18 and am learning through an evening course. I previously completed a 5 week introduction signing course. Thank you!

  6. Hi. I am very new to BSL and have wanted to learn my whole adult life. I’m 28 and live in Devizes, Wiltshire. I currently have an online course on the go and several apps. Iv even followed many YouTube videos. If I was to do a better course it seems to cost a lot and i have no idea who to use so any opinions welcome. But if anyone is interested in Skyping or FaceTiming as regularly as possible or lives close enough to hang out and help me further my BSL that would be amazing! Thank you Henry
