  1. Deaf Action

    BSL qualification courses in Edinburgh

Deaf Action have been hosting British Sign Language (BSL) classes since the 1980′s and in that time we have seen thousands of people successfully pass through our training centre. We use qualified and experienced deaf tutors for all of our British Sign Language courses and have amassed a collection of excellent resources and materials. Not sure what level you’re at? If you already have experience of using BSL, one of our tutors can assess your level so you begin with a class that matches your skills; just get in touch and we’ll do the rest. Most of our courses are accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and all of our BSL courses qualify for ILA Scotland funding. Payment plans are available for our SQA accredited courses and details can be found in the application packs on our website. Terms run twice a year in Spring and Autumn. SQA courses run from Introduction level to level 3. We also run 6 week taster courses for those who aren't sure about joining a full course. For more information email [email protected] or call the Training Co-ordinator on 0131 556 3218
