Why I am learning BSL

Recommended Posts

I work in a FE/ HE mix college as a Library Assistant, we have a fantastic hearing impaired department so have lots of Deaf/deaf students. It would be fantastic to be able to directly communicate with the students without an LSA or interpreter with us. It could come in handy in the wider community too.

Hi Rachel   I work in a public library. I have been working from home since March mainly updating my statutory training and working on our library Facebook page , recording rhyme times & Story times etc  but felt I could put the time to good use by learning something new that would be beneficial in my library role. Hopefully learning BSL  will do that. Do you know what the sign is for library ? I wondered if its the same as book or reading. Good luck
