To communicate with people

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. My name is Xyra and I have just graduated from university. I have wanted to learn sign language for a while but when the pandemic started, I thought there is no better time than now to learn. I like to meet new people and make friends and would love to be confident in signing to do so )

    • Hello friends. We all know that the main communication deals with email if we are talking about business communication. So, having a nice email signature becomes essential and fortunately, we have this site https://newoldstamp.com/solutions/email-signature-for-personal-assistant/ which usually helps people like me without getting any payments for it. I really appreciate it.
    • Hey Everyone, I'm excited to be writing my wee story for you all! I have started learning BSL after being introduced to the deaf community through my new job. I work for a company who provides VRS and VRI services. So far learning BSL has given me a broader insight into all aspects of BSL and has really benefitted me, in particular learning to acknowledge my deaf colleagues and how they like to communicate with those in the hearing community. I hope that after I complete the BSL c
    • Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well! I have two reasons for learning sign language, the first being it will be a great addition alongside my current degree and after taking an intro course at the university I knew it would be great to continue the journey. Secondly, I work in a supermarket where a few people are part of the deaf community and I would really like to have a proper conversation. I am really enjoying learning BSL , although I am progressing slowly due to other commitments.
    • Hi, I am starting to learn sign language alongside my uni course as I want to work with children with special educational needs in the future and this will be really beneficial for me. It is also something I have always wanted to learn.
    • Hope I've done this right lol. I'm Saff and I've just started to learn BSL because I've always been interested but 'never had the time' and since lockdown has been forced upon us I saw it as a blessing in disguise to finally tick it off my list. It's going really well so far and I haven't lost motivation but I am only the fourth lesson in, however I think I'll be alright because this course has been so easy to follow. If anybody has any tips or anything to help remember signs or just some advice
    • Hi, my name is Molly! I started to learn BSL when I was in year 5&6. I never carried this on going into high school, however have decided to pick it back up at the age of 21. I think it's such a great way of communicating and should be taught in schools all around the country. I didn't think I'd be able to remember much but a lot of it has come flooding back. I could really use some help practicing with people, if anyone would like to connect?
    • Hi Bethan and Emily, If possible I would also like to join the group to practice with. At the moment I'm on section 5 families. Gary
    • Hi, my name is Abi. I started learning BSL a few weeks ago - please feel free to offer feedback!
