Advice on next level

Hi Everyone,

I have completed Level 1 and 2 and looking for a level 3. Ideally I would like one with videos but do no really want to spend a lot. Most courses are online at present but this would also suit me best in the future. Please can anyone recommend one. All the ones I have looked at seem to start with basics and all the topics already covered in 1 and 2. Is this normal on all bsl courses?;)

hi sue have you tried https://www.thecoursemix.co.uk/courses/british-sign-language-level-3-4-course/

for both its currently £39. hopefully someone has already tried this course and has a view.

I have just started level 1 so I'm not sure if you would've covered the subjects in this 3 and 4 - the website has level 3 on its own for £19 too.

    • Hi! I’m Emily, I was a CoDa (child of deaf adult) between ages of 5 and 12 as we used BSL at home to communicate with my stepdad who was deaf.    I recently watched a show with a deaf actress in who used ASL and it reminded me that I know quite a lot of basic BSL but I want to brush up on my skills so I can effectively communicate with any BSL users I come across! It’s also a fun hobby ☺️
