It started with an idea a few years ago...

Well a few years ago I worked for myself as a computer technician / engineer and had a crazy thought of providing support for deaf people as I found it was (or appeared to be) an empty niche in an already crowded market, wherever I looked I saw every man and his dog was setting up shop repairing computers and selling stuff.  Yet despite the cheaper prices, snazzy signs, and advice they were prepared to sell you no one actually had any comprehension of providing a service for the deaf.... Fortune seemed to smile on me at this time as we had a good friend and neighbour who was very fluent in sign language (which I found out later) and he agreed to teach me, about 10 weeks later we had christmas arrive and stopped the lessons for a short while but in the new year everything changed and the lessons never resumed ... shortly after both he and his family moved house virtually overnight..  Meanwhile lifes dynamics have changed and I had to close the business due to my customers dropping off and a recurring back problem from an industrial injury many moons ago which sort of restricts me from crawling under desks and in roof spaces running cables, so i'm now unemployed and looking once again to learn sign language mainly for my own gratification but if the situation arises I could actually bring some computer knowledge to deaf people .... once I grasp an understanding of sign language
