Unfortunately it wasn’t very good. Not enough people came that were apparently signed up for it, so there just weren’t enough people! I managed to remember everything though, so always good. I’ve just finished all level 1 training for BSL though, so feeling good! One more tutorial online then on to level 2!

Maybe worth persevering Bec as sometimes groups take a while to get established.  I used to deliver baby signing classes and drop in groups.  It was hard work to get it going but then word of mouth spread and it became very popular quickly.  My confidence was very low when I first started and only a few people turned up but my confidence quickly grew and now I teach adults at certificate level.  I love it!

      Hi my name is Emma and I am learning BSL from Australia. I have completed my Diploma of Auslan (Australian Sign Language) and have started learning BSL. If anyone is not a complete beginner and would like to practice that would be great! Australia is approx 9 hours ahead of London time...so hopefully we can find a suitable time:)

      Hi, I am new to this forum. I am currently doing an online on-demand course along with a friend. I studied modern languages many years ago and am really interested to learn BSL - it is such an interesting and expressive language. I am also deaf in one ear (since early childhood) so am conscious that my hearing could worsen at some point.
