Hi, I suffer from a condition called Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). It affects me in many ways, one of which, is my speech. I am not deaf however at times my speech becomes so impeded that I don't bother talking as it takes so long just to ask or answer a question. I am learning sign language to get over this barrier so that me and my wife can converse when I'm having an episode.
