Hi, My name is Sophie. I wanted to learn BSL as while I was working in shops I had served a few deaf customers and found it difficult that I couldn't provide the same service to them as I could my hearing customers. I learnt how to sign thank you and when I used it with my deaf customer I could tell even that small effort was appreciated but I though why not take it one step further!
