Hello all, I'm really excited to learn BSL further. I know some basics like finger spelling and a few words here and there  but want to learn further and take a serious shot at learning BSL. My previous job was a mental health support worker and we had non verbal clients so I picked up a few things there and that's what sparked my interest in learning BSL properly. Although, (besides my previous job) I don't personally know anyone that uses BSL as their main language I would like to be able to communicate with someone if ever I needed to.

I hope that I will be able to learn to sign clearly and well and that this skill will aid me in learning how to create inclusive spaces for Deaf and signing people.
