Hi everyone,

My name is Rachael and I'm 28 years old.  I live in Wigan, Greater Manchester and have a background as a primary school teacher, though I now work for a cruise line as part of their youth team.  I have always wanted to learn BSL and figured this whole lockdown was the perfect time to start.  I have also been using a page on Facebook (Sign Along With Us) in order to learn some popular songs using SSE which I have found really enjoyable and useful in learning a number of other signs.

Hope everyone is doing well and managing to keep their chin up during this difficult time.  Remember to find the good in everyday.

Stay magical 🦄 x

I miss him so much but I thought I would still do this course anyway, we were going to use it to sign to each other during cardiac arrests as we have to wear Level 3 PPE at the moment which makes it ver

I'm still a total beginner but I'm hoping to pick it up:)
