Introducing Myself

Recommended Posts

Good morning all. I think I echo the same sentiments as a lot of people. When I was in Yr 7 I think, I had to learn the alphabet as part of a project and I was hooked from then. I have always promised myself that I would learn someday, and that day seems to have arrived along with plenty of others. I have been placed on furlough and wanted to learn a skill during this time. I love learning and wholeheartedly believe that no one should be excluded from communication or not understand what is going on around them. Both my Dad and sister have had problems with the ears, and will often not be able to hear for a few days at a time, its very frustrating for them and that just gave me the tiniest insight into how helpful sign language might be. I work in the charity/ healthcare sector and I am sure these skills I am learning will be able to put to good use!
