Hello everyone, 

My name is Dave and I am currently completing the BSL introductory course. I am a primary school teacher in a mainstream school who has decided to learn sign language for different reasons. The main one being due to being interested in helping children communicate who find it hard to verbalise and also to help tailor my teaching to help include children who have hearing loss. I am finding the course really interesting and full of useful resources. I am aiming for complete a unit each 3 weeks to help with internalising it wall. Especially after Unit 3 as it was a lot heavier than the previous 2.

      Hi everyone. Name me what, Jeff. I've been basic signing for about 10 years now after getting a basic lesson from the company that I used to work for. My aim now, is to become fully competent within BSL and gain a qualification, and then look for any kind of employment that relates to BSL.

      Hello everyone. I am incredibly new to BSL (I've had one class at introductory level so far but I intend to pursue). I am 48 and I am experiencing some hearing loss but really I want to learn to sign to give myself more communication options and to be able to communicate with as many people as I can.

      Hello! I am very new here and I would like recommendations of online BSL courses where I can learn online in the evening. Cost isn’t an issue but it needs to be money well spent.  For context, am a lifelong hearing aid wearer with no BSL knowledge apart from finger spelling the alphabet… slowly.    Thanks in advance.
