Wren 0
Hi! I'm Wren, I'm 18 and I've always wanted to learn to sign, after growing up in a school with a few deaf/hoh pupils I noticed how isolating it can be for those who have to rely on only lip reading and writing. I hope that one day BSL will be a taught language in all schools as it will allow more inclusion for members of our society. I sometimes struggle with selective mutism as well so I'm hoping this will allow me to express myself to others without causing further distress. I hope those who are reading this are well during this difficult time, it has been very tough but learning sign should add to the list of healthy distractions and will be beneficial in general.
