I'm Sascha, I'm making my way through BSL Online's Introduction course and I'm hoping to find resources and fellow students (and maybe first language signers???) to practice conversational BSL with.

As for why I'm learning? I picked up a few signs from my therapist and I have a lot of time on my hands.

Also I think it should just be a thing that everyone knows? Kind of sucks that we aren't all taught from a young age.

Anywho, hope to be getting along with y'all!

      Hello all, I'm a newbie to BSL, and looking forward to learning a new language.  I learned Makaton and was a teacher for children with SEN/D for a number of years. My grandmother taught me how to fingerspell when I was quite young- and its great to revise the skill. Brenna

      I am a student nurse and I feel I should know more than just spoken and written English. I would like to be able to communicate better with any patients I have in the future who use BSL themselves. My children get taught some signing at school so I should also be learning so I can help them learn further.
