Hi there, my name is Vanessa and I have been learning BSL level 1 since September '23. I really wanted to start learning it because I feel everybody should be able to communicate with each other, and Deaf or partially Deaf people shouldn't be excluded from everyday communication. I am really enjoying learning so far, and doing the classes at college and having others to practise with definitely makes it better and the information easier to pick up
