Hi everyone! I have just started learning BSL. I want to have better communication with, and understanding of, the D/deaf community. I'm a theatre-maker and I want to make my work accessible and interesting to all my audience members. In addition, my family has a history of hearing-loss, so it may be that I will join the D/deaf community in the future, and I'd like to make a start on learning the language, as I imagine it'll take me many years to become proficient.
