I'm Emma. I just started the BSL course and I'm finding it so interesting.
A little backstory for my reasons for learning BSL: My grandfather's brother was deaf. They learned BSL when they could and my grandad taught me a few signs when I was a child. I always had an interest in learning it and managed to get a book of BSL from my local library when I was a teenager, taught my friend the alphabet and we used to communicate in class. Now I work with special needs and even though I'm in Italy, in an international school where we all speak in English, I felt like I needed to pick up where I left off.
This week I nailed the numbers.
That's about it from me!
