  1. Learning British Sign Language has always been something I have been interested in. I completed Stage One BSL many years ago when I worked in the civil service, but I never really had the chance to use it, so it faded over time. When my current workplace offered the Introduction to British Sign Language (Healthcare) course, I jumped at the opportunity. I really enjoyed it, and it re-ignited my interest, so much so that I have now decided to continue with the Introducing British Sign Language course to build on what I have learned.
  2. Hello! My name is Francine, and I work as a clerical officer in a care home in the Highlands, Scotland. I recently completed the Introduction to British Sign Language (Healthcare) course, which I enjoyed. It made me want to learn more, so I am now starting to learn basic conversational BSL. I am looking forward to improving my skills and being able to communicate better with people who use sign language.
