My name is Sharron and i am 55 years old. I have 2 absolutely gorgeous grandsons, the second of which was born with Microtia and has been diagnosed as severely deaf. We have been lucky that this diagnosis came within a few weeks of him being born and he has already been fitted with cochlear' s which made an instant difference. i have decided to learn BSL so I can communicate with my grandson on all levels and I'm enjoying it immensely.
