I'm learning BSL as progressivly since I turned 25 (2015) I have slowly been loseing my hearing loss through periods of sudden deafness. I first lost it most likely due to the common cold and it left me with one 'dead' ear and moderate-profound in my good ear.
As of 26th March 2020 I believe the Coronavirus has now taken what was left of me hearing and cannot hear anything at all for 5 days now, therefore my only choice is work with what I can do to help my family interact with me and continue with the 'new normal'.
