I work in public policy analysis and development on issues relating to inclusion and social care. So, after trying to explain disability discrimination and the social model of disability to lots of people, making an effort to be more inclusive myself seems to follow on from that.
Aside from work, I have always been interested in sign language as an alternative way of communicating but haven't got around to learning BSL until now - I've done fingerspelling and odd bits of makaton before. I'm really enjoying the course 😀
