I have two reasons for learning sign language, the first being it will be a great addition alongside my current degree and after taking an intro course at the university I knew it would be great to continue the journey. Secondly, I work in a supermarket where a few people are part of the deaf community and I would really like to have a proper conversation. I am really enjoying learning BSL , although I am progressing slowly due to other commitments.
Does anyone else find it hard to retain and how are you working around this so you are more proficient.
