I've always wanted to learn BSL and even tried once when I was younger but did not commit. I thought that it was important to communicate with all people, in a way that they were comfortable, and that's why I'm attempting to learn it again now.
I don't want to miss out on relationships with a non-hearing person because I was never taught to communicate with them. I think communication is important and that why I try to learn as many languages as possible.
