    My reasons for learning BSL are because I need to find a new activity to focus on, and to reach out to the Deaf community to make new friends. I'm not someone who goes out and hangs out with people, but I need to change that to decrease my loneliness.

I have had a lot of work experience from volunteering at my school SSE. I’ve wanted to learn sign language so I can communicate better with the children I may work with in the future or in the present.
