Hi everyone, 

 

As you are probably aware, English schools have shut until the start of the next academic year. I am planning on going to the University of Durham in October, and therefore wanted to keep learning in order to keep my brain active. :)

Hey, I graduated from Durham this summer! I'm now at imperial doing a masters (or at least I was until corona). I was in the sign language society there and was really enjoying it (beginner level). Would you be interested in practising together? In the chatroom for example?

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
