Introducing Myself

Hi everyone,

I'm Ellie but my friends and family like to call me Eliza.  I have just started learning sign language as i've been wanting to do so for a while now.  I'm 16 (first year of college) and have been really interested in sign language for a few years now as my mum used to know it for a client she worked with.  I work in a supermarket and we often have deaf or signing customers come in so i'd love to one day be able to properly communicate with those in the deaf community even just to make their weekly shopping slightly easier.

Hey Ellie / Eliza,

I hope your signing journey goes well as well as your education. I'm also in my first year of college and I would like some people to sign with as my college does not have a community for the hard of hearing unfortunately.

I hope this does reach you and I'm sending you good wishes

Cheyenne x.

Hey Ellie,

It was really nice receiving your message. I'm glad I made you feel at somewhat of ease knowing someone your age wants to learn 😊. I'd love to practice with you also but I have no clue how and where to start so you might take the lead for a bit aha. I hope this message arrives soon and we're able to talk more.

Cheyenne x

    • Hi everyone, I am excited to be learning sign language, it’s been something I have wanted to do for a long time, since my friend at school taught some small signs so we could play and get along. I have always tried to be a good communicator and recently have started my own business teaching children all about earth science using micro drones, I want to make sure the workshops I deliver are as inclusive as possible, and that I can connect and communicate with everyone.  I look forward to lea

    • Hey everyone, I was feeling a bit restless one night and started searching online to see if I could find a quick thrill nearby. That’s when I stumbled upon a profile suggesting I could find a girl for sex near me, and it piqued my curiosity enough to explore further. Signing up was simple, and I immediately noticed how active people were—no waiting days for a reply. I soon got into a flirty conversation that escalated naturally, and it felt exhilarating knowing we were both upfront about wanting
    • Hiya I’m Tamsin, I’m autistic and I started learning BSL to better communicate with deaf people and neurodivergent people who rely on sign supported English, and to use myself to be able to communicate in situations where I’m too anxious/overstimulated to speak.
    • Hello! Are there any online groups (ideally in the evening) where learners could practice signing?
    • I am have just finished the introduction to BSL course on this site. I found it very useful and with a group of others, who I did either or both a Lipreading/ a different 10 weeks introduction to BSl face to face courses, we are practising the lessons together at a weekly meet up. We are currently focusing on lesson 3 and also recapping the others. We are having fun learning together and building our confidence.
    • Hi  My partner, Ken,  and I, Jules, initially did a Lipreading course and then started learning BSL with ‘Amy of Smartsigns BSL’ in an introduction to 10 session course earlier this year. My partner’s hearing was gradually getting worse and he was feeling more and more isolated in social situations, so it seemed a good idea. More recently we decided, along with some of those on the Lipreading/ BSL Smartsigns courses, to do the course offered by this site and practice together so we would im
