Hi Everyone,

I'm an Actor working on stage and screen. I also work as a facilitator running workshops and making theatre with young people through Theatre's education departments. Via projects in special schools previously i knew my alphabet and very very basic signs, leaning more towards Makaton. So this all feels fresh. Looking to connect with people also learning and certainly interested in any projects that would combine the British Sign Language and my work as an Actor.

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
