Hi, Im Hayely and I am 25 years old.

I started doing this to pick up a new skill during these difficult times and my friend actually inspired me to do it because she started at the beginning of 2020 and now knows her basic lines for her job (she works within the NHS). Another reason is because my work is closed but we have help our local council with jobs for helping other people and they asked if anyone knew sign language, obviously not enough to help out but still it got me here!

the basics i know so far are numbers, alphabet question and (related to me) places. 

Happy to practice with anyone :) 

Also wondering if anyone can recommend some books to also learn from?

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
