Hi, my name is Shantel, i'm new to learning Sign. I have started this path as it been hard to find course in my home town.

I have been wearing hearing aids for many year.  I have day were they are very unconformable and love to be able to not ware them but need a way to complicate with friends and family. I relay on lip reading at the moment but i cant miss read and get very puzzled looks from friends.

As i learn this new langue i'm also teaching my partner which is hard, when your also learning. Would love to make friends and learn with other as it difficult doing this alone in the hearing world.

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
