Anyway,

My signing journey started with Sing and Sign classes with my children which just had me amazed at how they were able to communicate at such a young age. I’ve quite recently (September last year) changed my career completely and now work in educational setting as an administrator. It’s meant more structure to my life (previously a cinema manager for 13 years working all the unsocial hours) and my evenings and weekends back to enjoy my younf family and persue goals I had for a long time but always been too tired to really have a go at. I’m a firm advocate for inclusivity in all walks of life and feel BSL can only help with this in any setting in my life. I’m excited to learn!

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
