Hi, I'm Lauren and I live in Manchester. I have wanted to learn sign language for a while now however always struggled to find the time, but have finally enrolled on the course and I am fully enjoying it. Having learnt the finger spelling alphabet in school it had always stuck with me and I figured now was the time to further my learning.

Hi Lauren, I’m from Manchester too and new to this course , I’m thinking I’ll need to practice conversations soon with someone else who is beginning I’m still quite nervous of using it.... maybe this would be possible

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
