Hi everyone,

I’m here to introduce my self and why I would like to start using sign language so here it goes.

My name is Sam, I’ve always wanted to learn BSL but never really got round to doing it now lockdown is here I’m finding I have some time on my hands to achieve this goal, I had already learned little bits prior to doing the course due to the fact my 5 year old son was diagnosed with moderate to severe hearing loss it, started off with his hearing loss being mild but gradually got worse over the years which is why I’m wanting to learn more and also to be more involved in the deaf community, I would like to be able to communicate more with those who are hard of hearing.

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
