Hello! I am Mary and am quite new to BSL. I am a paediatric occupational therapist so have learnt a bit of makaton on the job but wanted to further my knowledge and understanding! I'm loving this course but I'm a bit worried about applying it to real life conversations so would love someone to practice with!

Good Afternoon,

I am very new to BSL , I thought it would be a great thing to learn. Also I have a lot of free time as I am a singer in lockdown. And thought it would be great for future career options. I am very scared about actually conversing with someone but would love to at some point. though it might be a very slow conversation.

I am Jolandi and I recently started with BSL. I am an inspiring teacher and therefore, learning BSL might come in handy one day.

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
