Hi 

My name is Lesley.  I've just started to learn sign language because I wanted to learn a new skill.   I had the idea to start learning last year and didn't pursue it at the time.  Since seeing Rose on Strictly Come Dancing last year,  I was totally inspired and decided to take the plunge to learn BSL.  I am hoping that completing this course may lead me onto to studying further to obtain an accreditation.     I'm really enjoying learning BSL,  I just need to make sure I get plenty of practice.   Any tips on how people practice would be welcome.   I'm hoping that as I start to learn more I can start practising with my friends and try as much as possible to introduce it into my daily life, so that it becomes second nature, and my confidence will grow.

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
