Hi my name is Craig.  I am learning sign because I think everybody deserves to be heard.  I have been in multiple situations where I have not been able to communicate effectively with somebody who uses sign as their main form of communication and would like to have the ability to be able to communicate if this happens again so that they feel more included.  I recently saw some examples of this on television that really struck a cord with me as I have travelled extensively and know how it feels to live in a community where it is difficult to communicate.  It is difficult to be able to fully express yourself under these circumstance and show your full personality.  I work in social services so being able to sign would be especially beneficial in my line of work.

      Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.

      Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
