Hi Everyone.  I am just starting to learn sign language and have set this as my autumn / winter rainy indoors project and will to learn more when I cannot get in my garden due to the weather. I have watched some BSLYou Tube videos and use the website for information too. I follow @deafchefofficial for his word of the day and that is what got me interested in learning more.  I just think it is a great thing to know and use. Having learned to sign the alphabet this week, I do have a question. When you are using the alphabet to spell a word, how do you show you have finished spelling that word before starting the next word? The first of many questions to come I am sure! Any help gratefully received!

      Hi, introducing myself - my name is Sam, I'm very nearly 47 years old. I work with customers everyday and more and more am finding that we have hard of hearing or deaf customers who are coming into branch, who adapt brilliantly to our lack of skill of being unable to communicate with them. So I decided to challenge myself and my aging brain to learn something new and to learn BSL to try and make their experience in our branch a bit better.

      My name is Steve.  I learned BSL at Level 2 at my local deaf centre many moons ago. When Signature was formerly known as the CACDP. YES! that long ago.
