Introduce myself

I have started to learn sign language because I lost most of my hearing about 3 years ago due to a double ear infection and realised how difficult it was to communicate without being able to hear.  I felt isolated and didnt want to socialise much.  Fortunately after 6 months I had an operation which helped me recover, but I still remember how it made me feel.  If by learning sign language I can make someone feel more included, it will have been worth it!
