Hi all my name is Dixie and I have wated to learn BSL for a while now as my job takes me to lots of different and difffercult situations as i am a fire fighter and on one occaction i was in charge of an incident (RTC) and one of the causlties was deaf and was very scared and unsure of what was happening. I felt ocmpletly hopeless and so upset i could not communicate with him to  give reassurance and help.
