My name is Tilly. I have done a little bsl in the past, but was recently inspired to pick it up again by Rose Ayling-Ellis’ documentary on bbc iPlayer. My husband and I are now starting to learn bsl together. As we both work in health and social care it feels like a no-brainer and something we should’ve learnt much much sooner. I would love to see bsl taught in schools alongside other languages.  I think the expressive nature of bsl really helps learners to further develop their emotional intelligence and mindful awareness through eye contact and visual communication. Loving the journey so far!
